Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of classical music and old boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. At age 16 she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense vocal instruction. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
