Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actor, known for her role in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! The actress began her career in the late 1980s, and rose to popularity with her role in the film Tezaab in which she appeared alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Her next film was the movie Dil where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she started learning dancing at a young age. She ventured into acting as an infant and was struggling for several years because many of her early film projects were unsuccessful. Eventually, she found success with Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. In the aftermath of her wedding ceremony, she took a short time off from her acting career prior to returning. In recent times, she was in an important performance in Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women in India. Dixit won 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. The award was also given to her by the social sector.
